Famous for its pinot noir and chardonnay for centuries, Burgundy wines have commanded high prices and still remain the land of small growers. From Chablis in the north, down through the superb c'ôte d'or and to the Macon further south, the region offers pinot noir and chardonnay at their best. Both grapes are vinified pure, unsullied and absent of blending with other varieties.
